I use Flash since 1998 and Flex since 2007. Flash is not the enemy here. It’s the lack of concern of people involved in the creation of the UI.

• The business people who appreciate a good UI but don’t know what’s involved in creating it
• The designers who only want to enjoy themselves and create unusable UIs
• The developers who don’t care about the users and only think about code

This is of course, a generalization, since I know some business people, designers and developers who care about users, but they are usually too rare.

In reality, everybody should be involved in creating a good user experience, not just UX experts. In UX, concept is important, design is important, programming is important. Every aspect matters equally.
